Kara & Watts 


Kara and Watts were married at the Pewter Rose Bistro in Charlotte. Kara, who is an artist and photographer chose this eclectic, non-traditional location for her wedding and reception. There were many amazing vintage style details such as the rings, Kara’s dress, the cake, cupcakes, heirloom family wedding photos and antique vases. After the ceremony, as guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the terrace, Kara and Watts enjoyed a few minutes alone to share their excitement about being newlyweds. I absolutely love being able to capture this moment and feeling. Kara and Watts are both so incredibly kind and gentle. It was so sweet to see the way they interacted with each other. I kept thinking that they would be the most patient and loving parents (oops, maybe I am pushing it a bit, they need to enjoy being newlyweds, haha). Candles and decorative trees adorned with tiny lights gave the ceremony and reception a warm and fantastical feel. After plenty of dancing with friends and family the night came to an end with an awesome going away. Johnny Davis was my wonderful second photographer!
